HOW TO SPARKLE? MINIMIZE IMPACT OF STRESS W/ EXCELLENT SELF CARE
The chaos of life will never cease. Like today, it is a super stressful day. I am activating my grounding practices to nurture myself through the stress and so can you!
So what can we do about it? What is the solution? Work on the secure calm center where ever we are and at any given time.
How to do that? EXCELLENT SELF CARE!
WHAT DO YOU NEED AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT?
Mentally: Focus on what you can say to yourself to help yourself to get motivated to do something about your situation. Even if it is only a small thing like saying to yourself, “It will be ok. I can’t control things. But I can give myself faithful, hopeful, and comforting thoughts or affirmations.”
Emotionally: Let yourself cry if you need. Let yourself feel what you are feeling. Just no drowning in it. Honor your feelings. Acknowledge the feelings, as they are one of your greatest friends of your life. They will be real with you and they never lie.
Physically: Exercise. It’s a must. Work that body. Drop down and give me 10 push ups! It can focus your mind as well as be good for your body. Have a cup of Relaxation herbal tea. Did you know that there is NATURAL DOPAMINE in tea! An amino acid for “feel good”. Yeah, that is so cool! A hot shower is good for distressing or anxiety.
Spiritually: Connect with God, spirit, source, the lord….. and say THANK YOU for being with me and helping me get through! I love you. Thanks for everything.
